"During this past summer, we experienced very warm temperatures on our second floor and we also had concerns about attic mold due to the high humidity. After researching several contractors, we selected Comfenergy due to their positive reviews, status as aa approved Dominion Electric contractor and helpful phone support.Our actual experience with Comfenergy was consistent with all the positive reviews we read. Once we contacted them, they worked with us to promptly conduct an energy audit and schedule the work once a contract was signed.Throughout the entire process, Comfenergy staff were prompt, highly professional and transparent. Jason, who conducted the energy audit, guided us through the specific issues in our house (air leakage in the attic and areas of the basement, poor attic insulation, no mold issues!) and the specific remedies required (sealing and installing specific areas). He also assisted us with completing Dominion Electric rebate forms and informed us of current energy tax credits.Our experience with the installation team was just as impressive. Robert’s team took care in protecting our carpets and other areas of the house and cleaned the areas at the end of each day. He also showed us the work being performed at key points of the installation (before beginning the work, after removing old insulation and sealing the attic, after the work was completed). The team also provided pictures of before and after the work.Overall, it was a great experience (we immediately felt the difference in our house) and we’ve recommended Comfenergy to our neighbors."

I can't say enough about how happy I am with their service and the results speak for themselves.  My house is more comfortable and i don't experience the significant changes in air quality as it goes from day to night and warm to cold.  I am very pleased.  They resolved a humidity problem which had caused staining in my interior walls.  All better now!

The salesperson was very knowledgeable.  Not a high pressure salesperson and I appreciate this.   Comfenergy adjusted to our schedule without any problems.   The installation crew was great.  Their professionalism was evident in the care they took to make sure they asked questions when needed.  They also took care when moving about my house and when they left, everything was clean.

Carl did a great job explaining different options.  Anthony and Irvin were very professional.  They made sure everything was explained to me along the way and did a superb job of cleaning up along the way.

Just a quick note to let you know I had another wonderful experience with Marvin and his team today! Marvin, Kevin, Marco & Rafael worked non-stop today to get my attic room and the adjacent attic spaces ready for our upcoming 40 degree weather. I was dreading this project (due to all the clean-out prep I had to do beforehand) but the 4 gentlemen were a wonder to watch as their well-synchronized skills converted my 19+ year old attic insulation into a modern weather-tight abode. They were very accommodating with my assorted questions and picture taking too. I'll definitely be recommending Comfenergy on our neighborhood email list (350+ households). The assessment was helpful and detailed and the consultation to discuss what improvements would be most cost effective was very appreciated. The construction days were great as well. They did a lot to limit dust with plastic and floor coverings. The work was quick with all the right personnel and equipment needed to complete the project on time as promised. Highly recommend to all!
