Linden VA Attic Spray Foam

Spray Foam Insulation was able to help this hot home in Linden VA.  The walls which were from a closet on the other side were covered to prevent attic temperatures from impacting the room on the other side of the wall.  spray foam also helped to create and air seal and eliminate uncontrolled air flow.  The rest of the attic was filled with Tru Soft Cellulose insulation.

Can Light Cover-Hume, VA

Can lights leak air from you home into the attic (which is outside your home).  It's very similar to leaving the windows open 24/7/365 even when heating and cooling the house.  You are paying for that heated and cooled air.

Rock wool can light covers not only seal this heated and cooled air in your home, and preventing it from leaving.

It keeps any flammable materials away from the can light which can reach temperatures allowing wood and certiain types of insulation to catch fire!!!

Berryville VA Attic Insulation Panels

This attic space in Berryville VA had several Knee Walls that needed insulation upgrades.  Small closet sized spaces where the roof and walls connected, which were originally insulated with traditional bat insulation that was not working effectively due to lack of an air seal.  Our Home Performance Sales Pro Pedro designed an attic project that included using Foamax insulation panels and ZypFoam to air seal and insulate the walls and underside of the roof.  This allowed for the removal of the original insulation which was in between the attic framing.  Air sealing helped to eliminate external air and temperatures from impacting the attic and performance of the home, making it more comfortable and energy efficient.

Uninsulated Deck Causing Humidity In Rooms Above

This home has a sun room/porch that is built on a deck. The floor of the deck had no insulation and as a result, the floor and room above it were uncomfortably humid in the summer and literally cold to the touch in the winter. We installed closed cell spray foam to the rafters under the deck to insulate and keep the floors above the deck comfortable!

Replacing Fiberglass Insulation in Amissville, VA

This Amissville, VA homeowner was looking to lower their utility bills this coming winter.  This before and after pic shows how we removed/disposed of the old fiberglass batt insulation.  Then, newly blown TruSoft cellulose insulation was installed. This cellulose insulation is more densely packed and does a better job at insulating a home than fiberglass due to its quality and ability to reach a high R-value.
