Here is the home in Herndon, Virginia and the truck!
Another shot of this beautiful home!
Here is a photo of the source of the issue; the attic! We will seal this up with a David Lewis Hatch Cover towards the end!
Here is the other side of the hatch cover we will be insulating! You can also see some of the old insulation we will be clearing out!
All of the attic floor is the old fiberglass insulation that was there upon our arrival. We will be removing all of this before replacing it!
Here is some more of the original fiberglass insulation which we will be removing!
Here is a photo after moving the old insulation out, and we are almost done cleaning out!
Here is where you can see the spray foam used to insulate the attic walls. There will be at least 2 inches of foam applied to make sure the home is properly insulated!
Once the spray foam is applied, it is time to install the blow-in insulation which is called TruSoft.
This is what the TruSoft looks like up close, you can also see the measuring stick we use to make sure the correct amount is blown-in.
Here is both types of insulation after they are installed!
This lovely home in Herndon Virginia was struggling to keep their home properly insulated and each floor at its desired temperature. Watch as Comfenergy transforms this attic into something that will keep their top floor cool in the summer and warm in the winter!
