Spray Foam Insulation Case Studies: Cold Rooms Over Garage - Chantilly, VA

This Chantilly, VA homeowner had rooms over their garage that were very cold in the winter.  Comfenergy offered a solution to dense pack cellulose above the garage ceiling to fill in the cold air voids that were making the room temperature uncomfortable.  This process can be done without removing the ceiling. 

The homeowner opted to remove the garage ceiling as they wanted to use spray foam insulation.  The homeonwer removed the contents of the garage and the drywall ceiling.  Comfenergy went in and sprayed closed cell insulation betwen the ceiling joist cavities.  Once the foam dries, the homeowner can re-install the drywall, tape, sand, and paint.

Now these rooms are warmer in the winter!!
