Challenge

This Springfield, VA homeowner has had drafty areas in their home ever since they had moved in over 7 years ago. It was a mystery to them, and nobody could figure it out. A full blower door and thermal imaging evaluation by Comfenergy showed the walls to be super drafty. The old fiberglass batts were allowing air to flow freely through the walls creating a drafty situation.

Solution

Comfenergy proposed to fix this issue by removing the vinyl siding from the exterior of the home, drilling holes, and dense packing the exterior walls with TruSoft cellulose insulation. No more winter drafts. The crazy part was this customer was considering replacing the windows in their home to solve the problem of the drafts!!!!

Thank goodness they called Comfenergy first!!!
