Challenge
This McLean, VA homeowner wanted to make their 2 car garage a conditioned space. They added cabinates along the back wall, and slat boards to hang tools along the side walls.
Solution
Comfenergy dense packed the two exterior walls of the garage with TruSoft cellulose insulation by drilling 2.5" diameter holes int he drywall above and below the installed slat boards. The wall cavities were not only filled with TruSoft cellulose, but densly packed to prevent air flow within the walls. The drywall will eventually be sanded and painted, and a new ductless split heat pump system installed to condition the space.
