Attic Insulation - Old insualtion in the attic
Old insulation which had some uninited guests living in it. Most rodents are fans of traditional insualtion as it has nothing to discourage their presence and is warm when tirn up and used for nesting. The open panel of the ceiling was uninsulated and allowing external heat and cold to impact the temperature in the attic.
