Challenge

This Vienna, VA homeowner was worried about a hot top floor, and high energy bills. The AC never met the set point on the thermostat and ran 24/7 in the summer months.

Solution

Comfenergy air sealed leakage in the HVAC ducting system, sealed the floor of the attic for energy loss, and then added a deep layer of TruSoft cellulose insulation to top it off. Now they are comfortable and using less energy. Challenge your HVAC guy to do that!!!

The final product of the project called for R60 TruSoft cellulose insulation. All of the ducting was buried in this blanket of insulation.
