This Broad Run, Va homeowner was looking for a way to make the top floor of their home cooler in the summer.

The HVAC was alsolocated in the attic, so Comfenergy put together a solution to achieve both at the same time.

4" SilverGlo EPS foam boards and one part foam spray are used to "encapsulate" the attic. Notice the attic floor insulation is removed so the heating and cooling can "communicate" with the attic above.

The finished product. Now the top floor of this Broad Run, VA home is nice and cool int he summer, the HVAC runs in a cooler temperature, and they lose almost no heat in the winter!!!
